Saskatoon Futsal operates under the jurisdiction of Saskatchewan Soccer Association and follows all Saskatchewan Ministry of Health and Saskatoon Public Health regulations, and is also subject to specific facility and league policies.
Procedures for daily health checks, mask requirements, physical distancing and contact tracing will remain in place as long as required by public health regulations. Saskatoon Futsal League also recommends rapid test before the games,
SFL aims to minimize health risks and interruptions to the programs due to Covid-19. Proof of vaccination requirements vary between different facilities and leagues; many have not finalized their requirements; some require proof of vaccination for 12-17 year-old players, others do not.
Therefore, for the 2002 Futsal season, the league policy is as follows:
Program Suspension due to COVID-19 cases
If Public Health Orders determines that a program must be suspended or paused for a period of days due to a potential or actual COVID-19 outbreak, the league will be rescheduling the games to a future date
This policy is subject to change as required to comply with new or amended regulations. Should this occur, registrants will be notified at the earliest opportunity.
